A ranar 28 ga Nuwamba, 2022, Lambun Botanical na Shanghai Chenshan ya buga sabon sakamakon binciken kimiyyar halittu na peony mai taken "Goge-genome na giga-chromosomes da giga-genome na bishiyar peony Paeonia ostii" a cikin mujallar kasa da kasa Nature Communications.

Wannan binciken ya yi nasarar ƙaddamar da lambar kwayoyin halitta na babban ingancin chromosome matakin Fengdan peony da tsarin kwayoyin halitta na samuwa da kiyaye manyan chromosomes.Wannan shi ne mafi girma na chromosome (1.78-2.56Gb) a cikin tsire-tsire na ƙasa waɗanda aka jera su a cikin duniya ya zuwa yanzu, kuma yana ɗaya daga cikin manyan kwayoyin halitta (12.28Gb) a cikin tsire-tsire na dicotyledonous.Bugu da ari, sun gudanar da nazarin haɗin gwiwar genome-wide (GWAS) akan 448 accessions ta amfani da SLAF-seq, kuma sun gano kwayoyin halitta da yawa a cikin maɓallan maɓalli na fatty acid biosynthetic path, wanda zai iya aiki a cikin babban matakin ALAs kirar peony tsaba.
